A Harvard study followed almost 32,000 men from 1992 to 2010: those who ejaculated 21 or more times a month were about 20 percent less likely to be diagnosed with prostate cancer than men who ejaculated four to seven times. The difference mainly concerned the less aggressive tumors, and the men reported the frequency themselves. It is an observation, not proof, because men who ejaculate often also live differently in other ways – in the study, for example, with more exercise, more alcohol and more calories. The study says nothing about other cancers; it only looked at prostate cancer. For me it is still one of the more pleasant reasons to do something for my health.
